Many mission and aid organizations already exist in Haiti, why add another?
In Haiti over 80% of current outreach is focused on women and children, the young men are not being addressed. They are idle, angry and unfaithful. In a country of 80% unemployment and 65% illiteracy they are marginalized as useless. 62% are under the age of 25 and they have very few successful male role models. They do not know how to be a worker, a parent, a supportive husband, or a community servant. Haiti Teen Challenge believes that change in Haiti will occur when the male youth of Haiti are transformed by God and equipped to lead their nation.
